Role Description

Escher Labs is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Rebar RC CAD Detailer with Indian Standard (IS Code) Experience (within 3-6 Years Exp) for a full-time, on-site position in Chennai with experience in commercial building projects, responsible for preparing accurate rebar shop drawings and Bar Bending Schedules (BBS) based on structural drawings

Qualifications

• Prepare rebar shop drawings for RCC structures (beams, slabs, columns, footings, walls)
• Generate accurate Bar Bending Schedules (BBS)
• Interpret and work from structural and architectural drawings
• Ensure correct detailing of:
• Lap lengths, Anchorage, Spacing and cover
• Coordinate with structural engineers / site teams for clarifications
• Modify drawings based on design changes and site feedback
• Maintain drawing revisions and documentation
• Experience in working with Indian Standard (IS) Codes for RCC detailing (IS 456, IS 2502, IS 13920, etc.)
• Ensure drawings comply with project specifications and standards
