Real Estate Associate

Kayara Legal is seeking an Associate with strong familiarity in Tamil Nadu land and property due diligence to assist on vendor-side due diligence exercises. The ideal candidate will possess working knowledge of Tamil title documents and land records and will be capable of interpreting, summarizing, and responding to purchaser-side requisitions.

Location: Bengaluru (Hybrid minimum 2 days/week in-office)

Experience: 34 years

Remuneration: 25,000 30,000 per month

• Review and interpret Tamil-language land and title documents, including sale deeds, gift deeds, partition deeds, ECs, and revenue records (Chitta, Adangal, FMB, Patta, etc.).
• Assist the lead counsel in preparing responses to purchaser-side requisitions and clarifications.
• Map title flow and correlate responses to underlying documentation.
• Support other similar due diligence assignments across southern jurisdictions as required.
• Maintain accuracy, consistency, and timeliness in all deliverables.

Scope of Work:

• No title reports or requisition lists are to be prepared independently.
• Work is limited to review, interpretation, and support for requisition response preparation.
• Role is collaborative and execution-focused.

• 34 years of experience in land/title due diligence, preferably involving Tamil Nadu properties.
• Strong reading and comprehension skills in Tamil (mandatory).
• Familiarity with Tamil Nadu revenue and registration documents.
• Basic understanding of due diligence and title verification principles.
• Good communication and drafting skills in English.
• Willingness to work from the Bengaluru office at least two days per week.
