Role Overview
We are looking for a React Native App Developer Intern to join our product and engineering team. You will be responsible for developing intuitive, responsive, and high-performance mobile applications that bring our AI healthcare ecosystem to life. This internship offers a unique opportunity to work on real-world mobile products while collaborating with designers, backend developers, and AI engineers.
Key Responsibilities
App Development
- Develop and maintain mobile applications using React Native for iOS and Android
- Collaborate with designers to translate UI/UX wireframes into functional code
- Integrate APIs and backend services to deliver dynamic, data-driven features
Performance & Optimization
- Ensure app performance, responsiveness, and scalability across devices
- Identify and fix bugs, performance issues, and UI inconsistencies
- Write clean, maintainable, and reusable code following best practices
Collaboration & Delivery
- Work closely with backend, design, and product teams for end-to-end development
- Participate in sprint planning, code reviews, and feature discussions
- Contribute to deployment, testing, and continuous integration processes
Requirements
- Strong proficiency in React Native, JavaScript (ES6+), and basic React fundamentals
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs, JSON, and third-party libraries
- Understanding of mobile app architecture, component lifecycle, and state management
- Knowledge of version control systems like Git
- Problem-solving mindset and attention to detail
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Expo, Redux, or React Navigation
- Knowledge of native modules (Android/iOS) or Flutter is a plus
- Familiarity with backend integration using Firebase or Node.js
- UI/UX understanding and ability to build pixel-perfect interfaces
- Coursework or personal projects involving mobile app development
