About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Frontend Developer specializing in React and Next.js to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be instrumental in developing and maintaining scalable, high-performance frontend applications that deliver exceptional user experiences. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including design, backend development, and product management to create seamless, intuitive interfaces that meet client specifications and industry standards.
The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of modern web development practices, a passion for innovation, and the ability to translate complex requirements into functional, efficient code. You will also have opportunities to mentor junior developers, contribute to technical decision-making, and stay abreast of emerging technologies to continuously improve our offerings.
Qualifications
The successful candidate should have:
- Proven expertise in React and its ecosystem, with a solid understanding of component architecture and frontend best practices.
- Hands-on experience with Next.js, including server-side rendering (SSR), incremental static regeneration (ISR), routing, and API integrations.
- Strong knowledge of web fundamentals such as networking, caching strategies, rendering processes, and performance optimization techniques.
- Proficiency in TypeScript and familiarity with modern state management libraries like Redux, Zustand, or equivalent tools.
- Experience in writing and maintaining various types of tests, including unit, integration, and end-to-end (E2E) testing frameworks.
- Knowledge of Material UI or similar component libraries and design systems.
- Understanding of gRPC and gRPC-Web integrations will be advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset, with the ability to mentor and support junior team members.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain scalable frontend applications using React and Next.js, ensuring high performance and responsiveness.
- Design clean, efficient, and maintainable solutions with a focus on usability and scalability.
- Ensure application reliability and performance through rigorous testing, code reviews, and optimization techniques.
- Integrate frontend systems with backend APIs, including REST, gRPC, and gRPC-Web, to facilitate seamless data exchange.
- Collaborate closely with UI/UX designers and backend developers to deliver cohesive, user-centric experiences.
- Follow and promote best practices in accessibility, performance optimization, and code quality standards.
- Participate in agile development processes, contribute to sprint planning, and provide technical insights for project improvements.
