Job Title: Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) Reporting Analyst - I

Overview

The Reporting Analyst (I) is responsible for preparing, maintaining, and distributing accurate and timely reports to support RCM operations. This role focuses on data collection, validation, basic analysis, and reporting related to revenue cycle metrics such as billing, AR, collections, denials, and productivity. The analyst will work closely with operations, quality, and leadership teams to ensure data integrity and reporting consistency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Reporting & MIS Activities:
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports for RCM operations (Billing, AR, Denials, Posting, Credentialing, etc.).
  • Maintain standard dashboards and trackers for productivity, quality, SLA, and TAT.
  • Ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of all reports shared with stakeholders.
  • Extract data from multiple systems (EMR, PM tools, RCM platforms, trackers).
  • Data Management & Validation:
  • Perform basic data validation and reconciliation to ensure report accuracy.
  • Identify data gaps, inconsistencies, or anomalies and flag them to supervisors.
  • Maintain historical data and ensure proper version control of reports.
  • Update master trackers and ensure data hygiene.
  • Operational Support:
  • Support operations teams with ad-hoc data requests and analysis.
  • Assist in audit preparation by sharing required MIS and supporting documents.
  • Coordinate with team leaders and managers to understand reporting requirements.
  • Follow defined SOPs for report generation and distribution.
  • Process Adherence & Improvement
  • Adhere to reporting timelines and escalation protocols.
  • Document report logic, definitions, and SOPs.
  • Suggest basic improvements in report formats or automation opportunities.
  • Always ensure confidentiality and data security.

  • AR aging and follow-ups
  • Collections and cash posting
  • Denials volume and trends
  • SLA / TAT adherence
  • Quality and error rates

Required Skills & Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in commerce, Business Administration, Statistics, Finance, or related field.

Experience

  • 0–2 years of experience in MIS / reporting / data support role.
  • Prior exposure to RCM or healthcare operations is preferred but not mandatory.

Technical Skills

  • Strong knowledge of MS Excel (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, basic formulas).
  • Working knowledge of MS PowerPoint and Word.
  • Basic understanding of databases, reporting tools, or dashboards is a plus.
  • Exposure to RCM workflows (Billing, AR, Denials) is an advantage.

Should demonstrate functional knowledge or strong ability to learn-

  • MS Excel- advanced formulae, lookups, filtering, sorting, identifying anomalies
  • Power BI- AI assisted DAX coding and debugging
  • Power Query- Data ingestion and clean up
  • Power Pivot- For summarization of power query outputs
  • Python- AI assisted debugging (not coding) and manual checks for data pulling
  • Copilot- Should be able to write great prompts for data analysis

Behavioral & Functional Skills

  • High attention to detail and accuracy.

This is an onsite position, 5 days/week, in the Vadodara office working the NIGHT SHIFT. Hours are 5:30pm-2:30am IST. Remote applicants will not be considered.
