Key Responsibilities

  • Maintenance Planning & Scheduling
  • Develop maintenance plans using RCM methodologies such as FMEA, failure mode analysis, and asset criticality analysis.
  • Create detailed job plans including scope, materials, tools, spares, manpower, safety procedures, and time estimates.
  • Work closely with engineering, production, and maintenance teams to understand equipment needs and operational priorities.
  • Ensure all planned tasks adhere to safety, quality, and compliance standards.
  • Prepare weekly, monthly, and shutdown maintenance schedules using CMMS/EAM systems (SAP PM / Maximo / Infor / Oracle).
  • Prioritize work orders based on equipment criticality and production impact.
  • Coordinate with operations to align maintenance schedules with production plans.
  • Track schedule compliance and update plans based on maintenance execution feedback.
  • RCM & Reliability Improvement
  • Conduct RCM studies for critical assets to optimize maintenance strategies.
  • Analyze equipment performance data, work orders, and failure events to recommend improvements.
  • Identify opportunities for predictive maintenance (PdM) using condition monitoring tools (vibration analysis, thermography, oil analysis).
  • Implement continuous improvement activities to enhance asset reliability.
  • Spare Parts & Resource Management
  • Identify required spare parts, create BOMs, and collaborate with warehouse teams for inventory optimization.
  • Coordinate procurement of tools, materials, and contractor services as per job requirements.
  • Ensure availability of resources ahead of planned maintenance execution.
  • Documentation & Reporting
  • Maintain accurate records within CMMS systems, including work orders, job plans, equipment history, and preventive maintenance tasks.
  • Generate reports on maintenance KPIs: schedule compliance, backlog, MTBF, MTTR, downtime analysis, etc.
