Job Summary

The Risk Consulting (RC) Creative Services Senior Associate will work with the RC Creative Services Supervisor and the RC Creative Services Lead, as well as members of the RC practice, to create a variety of high-quality Microsoft PowerPoint and Microsoft Word based deliverables including client proposals, enhanced leadership presentations, go-to-market pursuit materials, internal training slide decks, customized templates for client deliverables, and other RC related tools.

The Associate is responsible for creating and formatting documents using AP style grammar, ensuring deliverables are compliant with RSM brand guidelines, providing proofreading and final review of materials, managing project workflow, updating SharePoint databases, and other tasks as needed.

The ability to effectively and efficiently collaborate with all levels across the firm is important. This position also requires a high level of creativity, as we are looking for someone who is able to create new, enriched slide layouts and organized data displays.

The Senior Associate will have a strong commitment to continuous improvement and will be comfortable suggesting modernized solutions to help the efficiency of the team and increase the overall growth of our services.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

• Creating presentations and placemats for client projects and proposals using graphic design principles
• Brainstorm new solutions to effectively and efficiently produce enhanced client deliverables.
• Reviewing formatted framework in Microsoft Word or PowerPoint
• Creating high-quality slide layouts, tables, charts, etc.
• Assisting with data-gathering tasks to support colleagues handling large projects
• Proofs and edits document in accordance with Associated Press (AP) and RSM styles
• Verifying a project follows the style and branding guidelines, while reviewing for completeness and accuracy
• Ensures document is properly formatted and compliant with firm policies.
• Checking for typographical and design inconsistencies, accuracy of tables of contents, appendices, headers, footers, titles, copyright dates, etc.
• Commitment to continuous improvement
• Brainstorm new solutions to effectively and efficiently produce enhanced deliverables.
• Other duties as assigned.

EXPERIENCE

• 2+ years of related experience in graphic design and/or content creation
• Background in professional services industry preferred
• Expert Microsoft PowerPoint and Word skills
• Ability to prepare high-quality presentations including charts, graphics, and tables, etc.
• Ability to communicate both verbally and written with diverse audiences.
• Strong AP Style grammar and proofing knowledge and experience
• Expert English language skills
• Exceptional organization and time management skills
• Strong attention to detail.
