This role is for a R2R (General Ledger) Professional to maintain and oversee the company's general ledger. The ideal candidate will ensure the accuracy of all financial entries, perform regular reconciliations, and contribute to the preparation of financial statements while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and oversee the company's general ledger, ensuring the accuracy of all entries.
- Regularly analyze the Trial Balance (TB) to identify and resolve discrepancies.
- Prepare and assist in the generation of financial statements, ensuring all financial reporting complies with company and regulatory standards.
- Perform monthly, quarterly, and yearly reconciliations of different ledgers, such as bank reconciliations, asset ledgers, etc.
- Ensure compliance with local accounting standards and support audits by providing accurate financial data.
- Collaborate with other departments, like accounts payable and receivable, to ensure accurate financial data integration.
Skills
Required Skills:
- Experience in General Ledger (GL) accounting.
- Proficiency in accounting software, with a focus on SAP and JD Edwards.
- Strong MS Excel skills, including pivot tables, v-lookups, and other data management functions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage deadlines efficiently.
Qualifications
- A Graduate/Postgraduate degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
