Execute product development and proof of principle through to scale-up activities in-plant by working closely as a cross-functional working group member. Scale-up activities will typically have only one dimension (e.g. concentrate conversion to finished product).
Compile R&D project timelines to ensure required equipment and resource is available for use.
Plan resources for trials and when needed align priorities with project managers.
With support from manager, adapt experimental protocol to suit experiment as it progresses.
With support from manager, liaise with SC/OPS to schedule, organise and run low complexity trials.
Work with SC/OPS and bottler technical staff to secure necessary resources for trials.
Provide recommendations based on results, align with manager / SC OPS and agree next steps.
Draft R&D technical data such as trial protocol and finished pack standards with approval from R&D Manager.
Qualifications
Graduate in a Food Technology, Food Science or Chemical Engineering looking to build a long term career within R&D.
Good technical and analytical skills, basic knowledge of statistics, ability to interpret data and distil into useful and actionable information
Understanding of and experience of working with experimental design.
Have an up to date knowledge of technology and be able to absorb and apply this knowledge
