Broadcom's Payment Security Division (PSD) is looking for an experienced, energetic and self-driven professional to join our team as a software developer for the development and architecture of products and components for our Arcot for issuers and merchants solutions. Our ideal candidate will be a hands on software developer who loves to code web scale systems with high TPS, low latencies and 99.99% availability. Candidate must have worked on and should be able to code and design highly scalable and available SAAS products/platforms.
Exceptional coding skills in JAVA/J2EE (Core Java, JMS, Design Patterns), React, AngularJS & related technologies with expertise in Web fundamentals
12+ years professional experience in commercial or web-scale system software development and delivery
Must have understanding & exceptional coding ability in any relational DB like Postgres, Oracle etc.
Experience in GraphQL (Optional)
Strong knowledge of Data structures and Algorithms.
Good hands-on experience with Web Services, SOAP, JMS, REST, XML
Highly experienced in developing high TPS and low latency highly available products
Experience with complex cloud deployments & SAAS hosting environments
Linux operating system experience is good to have
Well versed in internet architectures, software stack, web application architecture, database components & web components such as Nginx or Apache
Should have used any version control system like GIT or CVS
Strong ability to troubleshoot complex issues ranging from system resources, software performance to application stack traces
Bachelor's / Master's degree in computer science or related stream is preferred
Ability to interact, develop, engineer and communicate at the highest technical levels with multiple project stakeholders
Produce clean code and automated tests
Be the role-model for all engineers in the team in terms of technical competency
Full stack understanding of web/mobile/API/database development concepts and patterns
