In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute to ABB's success with technology, software, product, and system development. Each day, you will identify and implement innovative solutions to relevant problems. You will also showcase your expertise by providing ideas and by being able to work both independently and as a part of a Research & Development (R&D) team.

This role is contributing to the Electrification Business Area for the Smart Buildings Division based in Hyderabad.
The ideal candidate plays a crucial role in ensuring cloud-based systems function reliably, securely, and efficiently.
You will be mainly accountable for:
System Validation Expertise: The candidate should have strong skills in validating complex systems within the electrical domain and ability to lead system and subsystem test planning, execution, and reporting activities.
Lead validation efforts of cloud-based applications and full-stack solutions for performance, security, and scalability.
Must have in-depth understanding of device communication, industrial protocols, and testing of low-voltage switchgear. The candidate must have hands-on experience on Modbus, TCP/IP, RS232, RS485, IEC 61850, Profinet, PLC, MQTT.
The ideal candidate should have expertise in test automation using Python (Pytest, BDD), REST API automation, LabVIEW, regression frameworks for embedded and cloud systems.
Collaborate with development teams to optimize CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment.
Automate regression test cases and maintain scripts in Azure DevOps should be good at identifying scenarios for automation and manual testing.
Must have good understanding of Agile methodology collaborate with stakeholders for requirement reviews and deliverable validation ensured timely releases.
Review Software Requirement Specifications (SRS) and test readiness documentation to ensure compliance and quality.
Qualifications for the role:
B. Tech/M. Tech in Computer Science (CSE), Electronics & Communication (ECE), or Electrical Engineering (EE) from reputed institutes.
10+ years of professional experience in system validation and software/firmware validation.
Strong background in products related to the electrical domain, with proven ability to validate complex systems and subsystems.
Ability to lead validation teams, coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders, and drive quality assurance across product lifecycles.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies and Git
