This role is contributing to the R&D product development team of Pulp, Paper and Fiber in Process Industries, based in Bangalore, India.
You will be mainly accountable for:

ABB's pulp and paper teams develop a range of market leading control systems products for the global pulp and paper industry. We have a multidisciplinary team located in centers around the world cooperating on product development. At the heart of ABB's strategy is software-led differentiation and the Internet of Things, Service and People (IoTSP).In this role, you will play the Domain Architect role for the Research and Development (R&D) team and support them in achieving the agreed R&D targets. You will own end-to-end technical architecture of the product, guiding and mentoring the R&D team for any domain related technical challenges. You will also define the product level compatibility strategy and ensure release of product with optimum quality and security, working closely with Product Management team. The work model for this role is hybrid.
You will be working at Ability Innovation Center (AIC), home to the largest technology and engineering pool in ABB globally and is a part of ABB Global Industries and Services Private Limited, a subsidiary of ABB. It is based in Bangalore, the silicon-valley of India.
