R&D Engineer

We're looking for an innovative R&D Engineer with a strong background in image processing and computer vision, specifically within the context of servicing printed circuit boards. The ideal candidate will have expertise in areas such as image mosaicing, thermal imaging, and automatic optical inspection. This role requires hands-on experience with various image processing techniques, pattern recognition, and working knowledge of image sensors to contribute to cutting-edge research and development projects.

Primary Purpose:

• This role focuses on image mosaicing, thermal imaging, and automatic optical inspection within the field of servicing printed circuit boards.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Gain experience in Image acquisition techniques and methodologies.
• Perform pre/post image processing to enhance and prepare images for analysis.
• Conduct in-depth Image Analysis to extract meaningful data and insights.
• Apply expertise in pattern recognition for identifying specific features or defects.
• Utilize knowledge and experience in computer vision principles and algorithms.
• Demonstrate working knowledge of Image sensors, 2D & 3D images.
• Possess experience with OCR (Optical Character Recognition) technologies.
• Utilize scripting languages like Halcon or any other similar image processing scripts for development and automation.
