Key Responsibilities (Expectations Are High)
- Own the full RD lifecycle from strain discovery and formulation to large-scale field validation and commercialization of next-gen bio-stimulants and microbial solutions .
- Build, mentor, and push a high-performance team of scientists and agronomists to deliver breakthrough results.
- Identify and develop cutting-edge technologies: new microbial strains , advanced consortia , novel delivery systems, and high-efficacy bio-stimulant formulations.
- Design and execute aggressive trial programs (lab - greenhouse - multi-location field) that generate irrefutable data.
- Navigate and conquer regulatory hurdles (CIBRC, FCO, etc.) to get products to market fast.
- Collaborate with zero excuses across Manufacturing, Marketing, and Sales to hit aggressive launch timelines.
- File patents, publish high-impact papers, and stay ahead of global trends in microbiome science and bio-stimulants .
- Deliver measurable business impact not just publications.
Who We're Hunting For
- PhD in Microbiology, Plant Physiology, Biotechnology, or Agricultural Sciences (strongly preferred).
- Minimum 8+ years of hands-on, result-oriented experience in bio-stimulants, biofertilizers, or microbial biopesticides.
- Deep expertise in microbial fermentation, formulation development, stability testing, and field performance validation.
- Strong leadership DNA - you've built and led high-output teams before.
