Experience: 6-10 years in early stage startup / D2C
Reports to: Head of Market place
Locations: Okhla Phase 2
Work schedule: 5.5 days (2&4 Sat is working)
Role Overview
We are looking for a dynamic and entrepreneurial VP / Lead – Quick Commerce to drive end-to-end strategy, execution, and growth across all quick commerce platforms (Zepto, Blinkit, Instamart, etc.). This role will own P&L, platform relationships, assortment strategy, and operational excellence to scale the business rapidly.
Key Responsibilities
1. Business Strategy & Growth
Define and execute the overall quick commerce strategy aligned with company growth goals
Identify new opportunities across categories, cities, and platforms
Drive topline growth while ensuring profitability
2. P&L Ownership
Own revenue, margins, and cost structures for the quick commerce channel
Optimize pricing, promotions, and trade spends to maximize ROI
Monitor and improve contribution margins
3. Platform Management
Build and manage strong relationships with key quick commerce platforms (Zepto, Blinkit, Swiggy Instamart, etc.)
Negotiate commercial terms, visibility, and campaign placements
Ensure strong brand presence and discoverability across platforms
4. Assortment & Inventory Planning
Drive assortment planning specific to quick commerce (high-velocity SKUs, bundles, etc.)
Work closely with supply chain and operations to ensure high fill rates and minimal stock-outs
Optimize inventory turns and reduce wastage
5. Sales & Demand Planning
Forecast demand and align supply accordingly
Plan and execute platform-specific campaigns, offers, and seasonal pushes
Track daily/weekly performance metrics and take corrective actions
6. Cross-functional Collaboration
Work closely with marketing, supply chain, finance, and product teams
Align on launches, promotions, and inventory readiness
Ensure seamless execution across functions
7. Data & Analytics
Leverage data to drive decision-making across pricing, assortment, and campaigns
Track KPIs such as GMV, AOV, conversion rates, fill rates, and margins
Build dashboards and reporting mechanisms
8. Team Leadership
Build and lead a high-performing quick commerce team
Set clear goals, KPIs, and performance metrics
