Location: Bangalore

Experience: 1015 years (including 35 years in quantum architecture / quantum-classical systems)

Role Overview

The Quantum Architect will be responsible for designing and leading end-to-end quantum and hybrid quantum-classical solution architectures. This role involves defining scalable system designs, selecting appropriate technology stacks, and ensuring performance, reliability, and maintainability of quantum solutions. The architect will collaborate with research, engineering, and consulting teams to deliver cutting-edge quantum capabilities aligned with business needs.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the architecture and design of quantum and hybrid quantum-classical solutions.

Define reference architectures, design patterns, and best practices for quantum engineering.

Oversee end-to-end system design including hardware-software stack selection, scalability, and performance optimization.

Ensure solutions meet requirements for reliability, maintainability, and error handling.

Collaborate with research teams to incorporate new quantum algorithms and innovations.

Work closely with consulting and business teams to align solutions with domain-specific requirements.

Integrate with cloud quantum platforms and hyperscalers such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.

Mentor engineering teams, establish coding standards, and drive the technical roadmap.

Required Qualifications

1015 years of experience in software engineering, systems engineering, or architecture roles.

35 years of experience in designing quantum or hybrid quantum-classical systems.

Strong background in system architecture, distributed systems, and performance optimization.

Proficiency in quantum computing concepts and quantum circuit programming.

Experience working across both classical and quantum technology stacks.

Strong leadership, mentoring, and communication skills.

Ability to guide and review work of multiple developers and technical teams.

Preferred Skills

Experience working with cloud quantum platforms such as AWS Braket, Azure Quantum, or Google Quantum.

Exposure to advanced quantum algorithms and real-world quantum use cases.

Experience in integrating quantum solutions into enterprise systems.

Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
