Description
We are seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor with 5-10 years of experience to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cost management and project budgeting, with the ability to effectively communicate with clients and stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and manage project budgets and financial forecasts.
- Conduct cost analysis and prepare estimates for construction projects.
- Monitor and report on project costs and expenditures.
- Liaise with clients, contractors, and suppliers to ensure accurate pricing and timely payments.
- Prepare tender documents and evaluate bids from contractors.
- Provide advice on contractual claims and disputes.
- Conduct site visits to assess progress and ensure compliance with budgets.
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field.
- Proven experience in quantity surveying or cost management (5-10 years).
- Strong analytical and numerical skills.
- Proficiency in using quantity surveying software (e.g., CostX, Bluebeam).
- Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
