Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Quantity Surveyor role based in Tiruchirappalli. The Quantity Surveyor will prepare and review Bills of Quantities (BOQ), assist in cost estimation and budgeting, and support tender preparation and evaluation. Daily responsibilities include monitoring project costs, updating cost plans, preparing interim valuations, and supporting cost reporting to clients and internal stakeholders. The role also involves coordinating with project managers, contractors, and consultants to ensure cost efficiency, validating variations, and contributing to value engineering and risk analysis. The Quantity Surveyor will maintain accurate documentation and support timely delivery of cost-related reports and project milestones.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in Cost Control and Cost Management for construction and infrastructure projects.
• Ability to prepare and review BOQ and support estimation and tendering activities.
• Experience in Cost Planning, including budgeting, forecasting, and value engineering.
• Competence in Cost Reporting, including interim valuations, final accounts, and client reports.
• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Proficiency in relevant QS software and MS Excel for cost analysis and reporting.
• Solid understanding of construction methods, materials, and contract conditions.
• Attention to detail, strong numerical and analytical skills, and ability to meet deadlines.
• Effective communication and coordination skills for working with multidisciplinary teams.
• Prior experience in consultancy or contracting environments will be an advantage.
