Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Quantity Surveyor role based in Trichy. The Quantity Surveyor will prepare and review Bills of Quantities (BOQs), perform quantity take-offs, and support tendering and procurement activities. Responsibilities include cost estimation, cost planning, and cost control throughout all project stages, from initial design to completion. The role involves tracking and reporting project costs, monitoring budget performance, and identifying variances and risks. The Quantity Surveyor will collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and clients to ensure accurate documentation, timely reporting, and alignment with project goals and sustainability standards.

Qualifications

Candidates should possess strong skills in Cost Control and Cost Management to maintain budgets and optimize project expenditure.
Candidates should possess solid experience in preparing and managing BOQ and Cost Planning to support estimates, tenders, and procurement decisions.
Candidates should possess proficiency in Cost Reporting to deliver clear, timely financial updates and support project decision-making.
Relevant degree or diploma in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
Ability to interpret architectural and engineering drawings and specifications.
Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
Proficiency in MS Excel and quantity surveying or cost management software.
Effective communication and collaboration skills with multidisciplinary teams.
Prior experience in architecture, construction, or infrastructure projects is an advantage.
