As a Quantitative Analytics Specialist in the Operations Analytics team supporting Cash and Check products, you apply advanced analytics to uncover opportunities that improve operational performance and customer experiences. You partner across Operations to turn data into timely, actionable insights and scalable solutions. You thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment that values curiosity, craft, and continuous learning.
Job Responsibilities
- Discover patterns across behaviors and events to anticipate next-best actions and enable timely, relevant outreach.
- Partner with Operations stakeholders and product leaders to understand business drivers, data, and processes and translate them into analytics solutions.
- Build business cases, design tests, select pilot populations, and evaluate results to inform future strategies.
- Analyze multichannel customer interactions across calls, branch, online, and mobile to map journeys and remove friction.
- Lead development and reporting of operational performance metrics and key performance indicators that track outcomes and drive accountability.
- Apply quantitative methods such as trend analysis, segmentation, forecasting, and optimization to improve business performance.
- Create self-serve tools and dashboards that deliver real-time insights to decision-makers.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Engineering, Computer Science, Data or Information Science, or a related quantitative field.
- 8 years of data science or quantitative analytics experience.
- Expertise in SQL with ability to write, optimize, and tune complex queries; strong database skills.
- Hands-on coding to source, transform, and analyze structured and unstructured data; ability to automate data pipelines.
- Experience wrangling large, complex datasets and delivering analytics solutions under tight timelines.
- Proficiency with at least four of the following: SQL, Python, SAS, Tableau, Alteryx.
- Ability to work directly with data owners and custodians to build and maintain an analytics data hub.
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills
- Experience in financial services or consulting supporting financial institutions.
- Familiarity with big data technologies and cloud platforms such as AWS.
- Experience with Agile methodologies such as Scrum.
- Strong communication skills to synthesize insights and influence senior stakeholders; demonstrated leadership.
