Job Description

The Network Initiative Analytics team is responsible for maintaining the accuracy of Interchange and Merchant Category Code (MCC) data, partnering closely with the Corporate Development team to size revenue opportunities, and ensuring data consistency between Chase and Payment Network teams.

As a Quant Analytics Associate within the Network Initiative Analytics team , You will develop robust controls for revenue tracking and leverage Python, SQL, and Tableau to identify opportunities and gaps in Interchange and MCC processes. You will be delivering high-quality analytics solutions to support strategic initiatives, drive revenue growth, and enable informed decision-making across the payments business.

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain analytical models to assess and size new revenue opportunities, supporting business cases and strategic initiatives in partnership with Corporate Development.
  • Ensure the accuracy of Interchange and MCC data, proactively identifying and resolving discrepancies between Chase and Payment Network systems.
  • Prepare and deliver clear, actionable analytics and dashboards for senior management, highlighting key trends and business opportunities.
  • Work closely with Payments, Corporate Development, Finance, and Technology teams to align data, share insights, and support business objectives.
  • Provide accurate data and documentation for audits, regulatory reviews, and internal controls, ensuring compliance and data quality standards are met.

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • Strong understanding of payments, interchange, and merchant data .
  • 2+ years of experience in data analytics, financial services, or payments.
  • Excellent attention to detail, documentation, and organizational skills.
  • Effective communicator, able to present complex analytics clearly to all management levels.
  • Collaborative team player, comfortable working across functions and in virtual environments.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently.
  • Proficiency in analytical languages (e.g., SQL, Python).
  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau).
  • Strong project management and stakeholder engagement skills.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Data Science, or a related field.
