Job Description

Lead technical quality for a global retailer with multicountry vendor exposure.
High ownership, factory interface and impact on key standards across categories.

Job Description

Conduct regular factory visits to audit production, vendor QA/QC processes, and participate in preproduction meetings.
Evaluate product samples throughout development, ensuring adherence to quality and technical standards.
Log quality issues, generate reports, and escalate concerns to Quality Manager and Sourcing teams.
Provide structured feedback to both internal teams and suppliers to resolve quality challenges.
Analyze data to identify supplier trends and productspecific insights that inform action plans.
Support creation of product guidelines in collaboration with Quality Manager and Sourcing.
Deliver technical guidance to sourcing and buying teams across multiple home product categories.
Publish weekly/monthly dashboards summarizing vendor performance, product issues, and key insights.

The Successful Applicant

Experience: Minimum 10 years in Quality/Technical roles, preferably within home textiles rug experience is an advantage.
Industry Exposure: Strong background working with suppliers across India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, or Sri Lanka.
Technical Knowledge: Deep familiarity with AQL methods, pointcount systems, and global testing standards.
Tools: Must have advanced MS Excel capability (complex formulas, data structuring, template creation) and strong MS Office proficiency.
Retail Experience: Prior work with US-based retailers preferred.
Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent technical qualification.
Skills: Strong communication, English proficiency, relationship management, and ability to guide both internal and external partners.
