Quality Specialist

Domnic Lewis has mandated to hire a Tech Specialist for a Leading Product Based Company with Consumer Durable products in chakan, Pune Location

Role Responsibilities:

Line Quality Management:

- Independently oversee line and process quality.

- Reduce line rejection rates (rework and scrap).

- Implement new systems and improve existing ones.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (CFT) to enhance quality.

- Enhance inspection methodologies.

- Ensure adherence to production processes and quality control standards, promptly addressing nonconformities.

Process Quality Enhancement:

- Lead or participate in improvement initiatives (Six Sigma / PSP).

- Maintain documentation and processes in accordance with SOP and CP.

- Ensure a smooth launch for new product development.

Quality Management System:

- Drive the implementation of the Quality Management System (QMS) within the plant.

- Conduct internal audits and address non-conformities.

Preferred Technical/Functional Skills:

Solid understanding of manufacturing processes (Assembly, Paint, Press, Casting, Machining, Moulding) and quality systems.

Assurance of line quality, quality planning, analysis, and corrective actions.

Experience in handling electro-mechanical components.

Conducting product performance tests.

Preferred Training:

Proficiency in problem-solving tools, SPC, SQC, Poka Yoke, 7 QC tools, Six Sigma, APQP, PFD, PFMEA, CP.

Familiarity with QMS 9001 and internal audit procedures.

Experience in handling Electro- mechanical products

Should have knowledge about the SOP, WI, PFD, Control Plan etc.

Should have knowledge about the process setup, process monitoring etc.

Should have knowledge about the jigs and fixturing (Kaizens & Poka-yoke)

Should be able to develop process-friendly solutions.

Should have knowledge of product performance testing.

Should have process knowledge.

Knowledge of PFMEA, 8D, PPAP with good presentation skills.

Knowledge about plastic injection moulding, casting, machining, etc.

Should have powder coating technology knowledge.

Should have knowledge of MSA & SPC.

Should have knowledge of Quality management systems.
