POSITION:- QC Head
JOB LOCATION:- Agarpara (Kolkata),
COMPANY:- Wagon/ Bogie Manufacturing Industry,
SALARY:- 70,000 to 80,000/ Month
JOB PROFILE :----
QC Head should have experience in Quality Control, with strong knowledge of Welding Processes, RDSO Inspections and Wagon Components in the railway sector.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA :---------
Diploma/ B-Tech Mechanical Engineer
Min. 1518 years of experience in Quality Control [ Railway Wagon / Bogie / Railway Components Manufacturing Experienced candidate Preferable ]
Strong working knowledge of Welding Processes and Weld Quality Standards
Hands-on experience with RDSO inspections and railway quality protocols
In-depth understanding of wagon component specifications and manufacturing processes.
Familiarity with quality standards such as ISO, IS standards , and Railway-specific norms .
RESPONSIBILITIES :-----------
Lead and manage the Quality Control department ensuring compliance with internal and regulatory standards.
Oversee inspection of wagon components and ensure readiness for RDSO inspections .
Ensure compliance with Indian Railway standards , specifications, and documentation protocols.
Implement and maintain quality assurance processes across manufacturing and welding operations.
Coordinate with internal departments and external agencies for inspection and quality approvals.
Handle non-conformance, root cause analysis, and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA).
Train and guide the QC team on quality procedures, standards, and documentation.
