What We Expect
- Implement and enforce quality norms and procedures across all project phases.
- Ensure quality standards are met for completed elevators and escalators prior to handover.
- Conduct in-process inspections and site inspections post-installation to verify compliance with contractual and technical requirements.
- Review, update, and revise Quality Planning outputs periodically to maintain effectiveness.
- Communicate managerial and technical instructions clearly to site teams, clients, and employer representatives.
- Conduct regular reviews of Quality Plans to ensure ongoing suitability and alignment with project goals.
- Perform independent site inspections and manage Quality Hold Points (e.g., check points, witness points) during installation and commissioning.
- Oversee stage inspections, including:
- Stage 1: Guide rail & bracket installation
- Stage 2: Landing doors inspection
- Stage 3: Machine, car, and roping checks
- Stage 4: Complete functional checks and system acceptance testing
- Coordinate and conduct Integrated Testing with other agencies prior to system handover.
Who we are looking for
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related field).
- Experience 10 to 15 years at least 10 years of experience in quality management within the elevator and escalator industry.
- Proven ability to manage quality processes across large-scale installation projects.
- Strong understanding of contractual compliance, and technical standards.
- Strong knowledge of quality management systems and inspection protocols.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills to guide teams and liaise with stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively across departments.
- Experience in stage-wise inspection and commissioning processes.
- Proficiency in documentation, reporting, and quality audits.
