Role Description

The Quality Manager - Modular Furniture role is a full-time, on-site position located in Mumbai. The role entails managing quality assurance processes, ensuring compliance with quality standards, and supervising the inspection of raw materials and finished goods. Responsibilities also include identifying and resolving quality issues, implementing improvement strategies, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to uphold product excellence. The Quality Manager will maintain quality certifications and documentation and lead initiatives to enhance process efficiency and safety in furniture production.

Qualifications

  • Experience with Quality Assurance, Quality Control, and Process Improvement
  • Strong knowledge of Modular Furniture manufacturing and associated industry standards
  • Proficiency in Inspection, Testing, and Quality Management Systems (e.g., ISO certifications)
  • Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and leadership skills
  • Familiarity with advanced manufacturing machinery and production processes
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field
  • Proven ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
  • Working knowledge of data analysis, reporting, and statistical tools
  • Prior experience in implementing quality improvement measures in manufacturing is an advantage
