Position: Quality Inspector / Quality Assurance Executive

About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Quality Inspector/QA Executive to oversee and ensure the highest standards of quality across our production unit. The role involves stage-wise inspection, data recording, defect analysis, and final product approval before dispatch.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct quality inspections at every stage of production:
- Sheeting: thickness & surface finish using gauges/callipers.
- Rolling: diameter accuracy & uniformity with measuring tape/jigs.
- Layering: visual inspection & resin ratio log.
- Partition Assembly: alignment & bonding strength via hammer/adhesion test.
- Water Testing: leak-proofing through hydro test.
- Finishing: surface finish & dimensional checks.
- Maintain stage-wise inspection checklists, quality logs, and data sheets.
- Approve/reject materials and finished products based on inspection results.
- Prepare rejection analysis, root cause reports, and suggest corrective actions. (Production team will help in this step).
- Ensure compliance with internal quality standards and industrial best practices.
- Coordinate with the Production Manager on critical quality issues.
Requirements
- Diploma/Degree in Mechanical/Industrial/Production Engineering.
- Minimum 3 years experience in Quality Assurance / Quality Control (manufacturing or industrial sector).
- Strong knowledge of measurement tools (callipers, gauges, jigs, hydro test methods).
- Hands-on experience with QA documentation & reporting.
- Eye for detail, strong analytical mindset, and ability to work independently.
- Knowledge of ISO norms preferred (not mandatory).
