Job Description

Project Role : Quality Engineering Lead

Project Role Description : Leads a team of quality engineers through multi-disciplinary team planning and ecosystem integration to accelerate delivery and drive quality across the application lifecycle. Applies business and functional knowledge to develop end-to-end testing strategies through the use of quality processes and methodologies. Applies testing methodologies, principles and processes to define and implement key metrics to manage and assess the testing process including test execution and defect resolution.

Summary:

As a Quality Engineering Lead, you will lead a team of quality engineers, guiding them through the complexities of multi-disciplinary team planning and ecosystem integration. Your typical day will involve collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure the delivery of high-quality applications. You will apply your business and functional knowledge to develop comprehensive testing strategies, utilizing quality processes and methodologies to enhance the application lifecycle. By defining and implementing key metrics, you will manage and assess the testing process, ensuring effective test execution and defect resolution, ultimately driving quality across the organization.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Expected to be an SME.
  • Collaborate and manage the team to perform.
  • Responsible for team decisions.
  • Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
  • Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
  • Mentor junior team members to enhance their skills and knowledge in quality engineering.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve testing processes to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.

Professional & Technical Skills:

  • Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in ServiceNow IT Service Management.
  • Good To Have Skills: Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks.
  • Strong understanding of quality assurance methodologies and best practices.
  • Experience in developing and executing test plans and test cases.
  • Familiarity with defect tracking and test management tools.

Additional Information:

  • The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in ServiceNow IT Service Management.
  • This position is based at our Pune office.
  • A 15 years full time education is required.
