Job Description

Project Role : Quality Engineering Lead

Project Role Description : Leads a team of quality engineers through multi-disciplinary team planning and ecosystem integration to accelerate delivery and drive quality across the application lifecycle. Applies business and functional knowledge to develop end-to-end testing strategies through the use of quality processes and methodologies. Applies testing methodologies, principles and processes to define and implement key metrics to manage and assess the testing process including test execution and defect resolution.

Summary:

As a Quality Engineering Lead, you will guide a team of quality engineers by coordinating multi-disciplinary planning and integrating various ecosystem components to enhance delivery speed and maintain high standards throughout the application lifecycle. Your day involves overseeing the development and execution of comprehensive testing strategies that align with business and functional requirements. You will monitor and evaluate testing processes by defining key performance indicators, ensuring effective test execution, and managing defect resolution to uphold product quality and reliability. Collaboration across teams and continuous process improvement are central to your role.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
  • Responsible for team decisions.
  • Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
  • Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
  • Lead efforts to establish and maintain quality standards and best practices within the team.
  • Facilitate communication and coordination between cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on quality objectives.
  • Mentor and support junior team members to foster professional growth and skill development.

Professional & Technical Skills:

  • Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in ServiceNow IT Service Management.
  • Experience in designing and implementing end-to-end testing strategies within complex application environments.
  • Strong knowledge of quality assurance methodologies, testing principles, and defect management processes.
  • Ability to define and track key quality metrics to assess testing effectiveness and product readiness.
  • Skilled in coordinating multi-disciplinary teams and integrating diverse technology ecosystems to optimize delivery.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering practical solutions to enhance team performance and product quality.

Additional Information:

  • The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in ServiceNow IT Service Management.
  • This position is based at our Pune office.
  • A 15 years full time education is required.
