Project Role : Quality Engineering Lead

Project Role Description : Leads a team of quality engineers through multi-disciplinary team planning and ecosystem integration to accelerate delivery and drive quality across the application lifecycle. Applies business and functional knowledge to develop end-to-end testing strategies through the use of quality processes and methodologies. Applies testing methodologies, principles and processes to define and implement key metrics to manage and assess the testing process including test execution and defect resolution.

Summary:

As a Quality Engineering Lead, a typical day involves guiding a team of quality engineers by coordinating multi-disciplinary planning and integrating various ecosystem components to enhance delivery speed and ensure high-quality standards throughout the application lifecycle. This role requires overseeing the development of comprehensive testing strategies that align with business and functional requirements. The lead actively monitors and manages the testing process by defining key performance metrics, supervising test execution, and facilitating defect resolution to maintain the overall quality of the product. Collaboration and strategic oversight are central to daily activities, ensuring seamless progress and quality assurance across projects.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
  • Responsible for team decisions.
  • Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
  • Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the team to enhance testing efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Mentor and support junior team members to foster professional growth and skill development.
  • Coordinate cross-functional communication to align quality objectives with project goals.

Professional & Technical Skills:

  • Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Salesforce Testing.
  • Experience in designing and executing comprehensive test plans and test cases for Salesforce applications.
  • Strong knowledge of testing methodologies, including functional, regression, integration, and system testing.
  • Ability to analyze complex business requirements and translate them into effective testing strategies.
  • Familiarity with defect tracking and test management tools to monitor and report testing progress.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills to identify issues and implement corrective actions promptly.

Additional Information:

  • The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Salesforce Testing.
  • This position is based at our Jaipur office.
  • A 15 years full time education is required.
