Salesforce QA Professional

Responsibilities:

Test Planning and Strategy:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and design comprehensive test plans.
• Develop and implement effective testing strategies for Salesforce applications.

Test Case Design and Execution:

• Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test cases based on business requirements and user stories.
• Execute test cases, document results, and manage defects to closure.

Automation Testing:

• Utilize automation tools and frameworks to design and implement automated test scripts for Salesforce applications.
• Work towards achieving a high level of test automation coverage to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

Regression Testing:

• Conduct regular regression testing to ensure that new developments do not negatively impact existing functionality.
• Collaborate with developers to identify and fix defects and issues.

Performance Testing:

• Perform performance testing on Salesforce applications to ensure they meet scalability and performance requirements.

Collaboration and Communication:

• Work closely with development teams, product owners, and other stakeholders to understand the project scope and requirements.
• Clearly communicate testing progress, issues, and results to the project team.

Continuous Improvement:

• Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and trends in Salesforce testing.
• Identify areas for process improvement and contribute to the enhancement of the overall testing process.

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 4 to 6 years of experience in quality assurance and testing.
• Strong experience in testing Salesforce applications, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and other custom solutions.
• Proficient in creating and executing test cases for both manual and automated testing.
• Hands-on experience with automation testing tools such as Selenium, Apex Test Framework, or similar.
• Solid understanding of Salesforce configuration and customization.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Certified Administrator, Salesforce Certified Platform App Builder, or similar) are a plus.
