Job Description
We are looking for a skilled QA Engineer to ensure the quality and reliability of software applications through effective testing strategies. The candidate will be responsible for designing test cases, executing tests, identifying defects, and working closely with development teams to deliver high-quality products.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute test cases, test plans, and test scenarios.
- Perform manual and/or automation testing for web and application platforms.
- Identify, document, and track defects using bug tracking tools.
- Collaborate with developers and product teams to understand requirements and ensure quality standards.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing.
- Participate in test planning, test execution, and release validation.
- Ensure applications meet performance, usability, and security standards.
Required Skills
- Strong experience in software testing (manual and/or automation).
- Knowledge of test case design, defect tracking, and test execution.
- Experience with tools like JIRA, TestRail, or similar QA tools.
- Good understanding of SDLC and STLC processes.
- Basic knowledge of SQL for data validation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good to Have
- Experience with automation tools (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, etc.).
- Knowledge of API testing using Postman or similar tools.
- Experience working in Agile / Scrum environments.
