Project Role Description : Enables full stack solutions through multi-disciplinary team planning and ecosystem integration to accelerate delivery and drive quality across the application lifecycle. Performs continuous testing for security, API, and regression suite. Creates automation strategy, automated scripts and supports data and environment configuration. Participates in code reviews, monitors, and reports defects to support continuous improvement activities for the end-to-end testing process.

Summary:

As a Quality Engineer, you will engage in a dynamic environment where you will enable full stack solutions through collaborative planning and integration within a multi-disciplinary team. Your typical day will involve performing continuous testing across various aspects of the application lifecycle, including security and API testing. You will create automation strategies and automated scripts while supporting data and environment configuration. Additionally, you will participate in code reviews and monitor defects, contributing to continuous improvement activities that enhance the end-to-end testing process.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Software testing or quality assurance position Type of Work Hands-on experience in backend API testing Good to have exposure on performance testing.
• Experience in automotive industry is a plus
• Areas of Work : Working on test automation of services deployed on Cloud.
• Ownership of bringing in quality as a practice at workplace
• Analyzing requirements and understanding business requirement.
• Creation and execution of comprehensive test cases.
• Identifying Test Scenarios, edge cases and suggesting improvements.
• Actively taking part in weekly status meetings with counter parts.
• Conduct Manual Testing on various Mobile devices of different platforms for Functional, Usability, Performance and Security aspects
• Document test results and log defects in Quality Center/JIRA and report the progress to team.
• Root cause analysis on issues and nail down the reason of issue.
• Expect the Resource to be part of the on-call support rotation
• Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
• Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
• Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
• Develop and implement comprehensive testing strategies to ensure quality across applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve issues throughout the development lifecycle.
  
  

Professional & Technical Skills:

• Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in API Testing.
• Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks.
• Strong understanding of software development life cycle and testing methodologies.
• Ability to analyze and interpret complex data sets to inform testing strategies.
• Familiarity with version control systems and continuous integration practices.
