Responsibilities
- Creating the Process for the efficient production and quality control of Test Bench Rack, Subsystems, Wire Harness systems by applying engineering mandated by standards.
- Creating and maintaining work instruction to optimize manufacturability
- Problem Solving and Recommending solutions for Internal production issues.
- Designing and implementing tools and fixtures required for effective manufacturing
- Investigating, recommending, justifying and implementing new equipment purchases
- Managing, coordinating production and quality technicians, oversees production and quality control of wiring harnesses, provides technical support to teams
- Generating Visual Inspection, Continuity test, Isolation Test, ATP's, FAI's, NCR's and quality related documents
Qualifications
- 2-4 years of Experience in Quality engineering and familiar with AS9100D Standards
- Preferable for IPC/WHMA-A-620 Valid Certificate
- TECH/ BSE/Diploma degree in Electrical & Electronics or Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering or similar field of study
- Proficiency in CAD/Equivalent tools
- Familiar with documentation management
- Ability to delegate necessary job instructions and requirements to work team
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and associated documentation
- Familiar with automotive wire harness manufacturing & quality standards such as IPC 620
- Excellent command of written and spoken English
- Ability to work in rapidly changing environment with minimal guidance, self-starter
- Outstanding problem solver
Essential Skills
