About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Quality Engineer with 24 years of experience in application testing. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality, performance, and reliability of our mobile and/or web applications through comprehensive manual and/or automated testing.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform end-to-end testing of mobile and/or web applications.
- Design, develop, and execute test cases, test plans, and test scenarios.
- Identify, log, track, and verify bugs using defect tracking tools.
- Conduct functional, regression, integration, and smoke testing.
- Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure quality deliverables.
- Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospective meetings.
- Ensure timely release of high-quality applications.
- Contribute to improving QA processes, standards, and best practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 24 years of experience in software/application testing.
- Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC processes.
- Hands-on experience in manual testing (mobile/web apps).
- Experience with bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla, etc.).
- Good understanding of API testing tools (e.g., Postman) is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of automation tools (Selenium/Appium or similar) is an advantage.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in Agile/Scrum methodology.
- Exposure to performance or security testing is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
