Quality Engineer

Primary Responsibilities:

Required Qualifications:

BS or MS in Engineering or Computer Science with 3+ years of test engineering experience

Bachelor's degree in computer science is a must; Master's degree is a plus.

Minimum of 3 years of experience in quality assurance, preferably in the heavy SQL, Manual, Automation Testing

Extensive experience in backend automation with Java BDD Framework.

Experience testing cloud-based applications.

Working knowledge of testing frameworks such as BDD , or Cucumber.

Develop, writing Test cases, document, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for backend/web applications, APIs, and database functionalities.

Perform manual/automation functional, regression, integration, performance, and security testing on applications built with .NET, JavaScript, Python, java

Strong JavaScript, Java, SQL skills.

Excellent communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders

Design and develop automated test scripts using Java.

Execute automated test cases and analyze results to ensure software quality. Perform root cause analysis and troubleshooting to resolve issues promptly.

Assist with user acceptance testing (UAT) and provide feedback for production releases.

Investigate quality-related issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence

Experience testing cloud-based applications.

Preferred Qualifications:

Master's degree in Computer Science.

Experience with REST API automation / Web Services Automation.

Knowledge of Source Code Management tools like BitBucket / Git, Continuous integration

Experience with XML and Json data a plus

Familiarity with Jira and Confluence a plus
