The opportunity - Sr Quality Engineer

Location - Bangalore, 5 days work from office

We are an already profitable, fast growing consumer healthcare startup based in New York City, is hiring a Senior QA associate based in Bangalore.

The founder's prior 2 startups scaled to 1,000+ member teams, so he's seen the highs and lows of the startup life cycle over time, which has enabled us to quickly scale within its first year. The Senior QA associate will work directly with the engineering lead based in India, have equity in the company and obtain a fast tracked career trajectory.

Application criterion

Only candidates meeting the below criteria should only apply for this role:

1. 5+ years of experience in software QA, with strong manual and API testing skills

2. 2+ years in a startup or fast-paced environment

3. Proficient in Jira for test management, defect tracking, and reporting

4. Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, JSON, and common authentication methods

5. Strong hands-on experience with Postman (collections, environments, scripts)

6. Skilled in PostgreSQL — writing complex SQL queries, validating data, and testing database integrity
