Project Role : Quality Engineer

Project Role Description : Enables full stack solutions through multi-disciplinary team planning and ecosystem integration to accelerate delivery and drive quality across the application lifecycle. Performs continuous testing for security, API, and regression suite. Creates automation strategy, automated scripts and supports data and environment configuration. Participates in code reviews, monitors, and reports defects to support continuous improvement activities for the end-to-end testing process.

Summary:

As a Quality Engineer, a typical day involves collaborating with a diverse team to design and implement comprehensive testing strategies that support the entire application lifecycle. The role focuses on integrating various components and ecosystems to enhance delivery speed and maintain high-quality standards. Daily activities include continuous testing across multiple domains such as security and application programming interfaces, developing and maintaining automated scripts, and configuring data and environments to ensure seamless testing processes. The position also involves reviewing code, tracking defects, and contributing to ongoing improvements in testing methodologies to support robust and reliable software solutions.

• Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
• Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
• Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of testing objectives with project goals.
• Assist in the development and refinement of automation frameworks to improve testing efficiency.
• Support junior team members by sharing knowledge and providing guidance on testing best practices.
• Monitor testing progress and provide timely updates to stakeholders to facilitate informed decision-making.
  
  

Professional & Technical Skills:

• Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Automated Testing.
• Experience in designing and executing automated test scripts to validate software functionality and performance.
• Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines to support automated testing workflows.
• Ability to analyze test results and identify defects, ensuring clear communication with development teams.
• Knowledge of configuring test environments and managing test data to simulate real-world scenarios.
• Strong problem-solving skills to troubleshoot issues encountered during automated testing processes.
