Project Role Description : Enables full stack solutions through multi-disciplinary team planning and ecosystem integration to accelerate delivery and drive quality across the application lifecycle. Performs continuous testing for security, API, and regression suite. Creates automation strategy, automated scripts and supports data and environment configuration. Participates in code reviews, monitors, and reports defects to support continuous improvement activities for the end-to-end testing process.

Summary:

As a Quality Engineer, a typical day involves collaborating with a diverse team to design and implement comprehensive solutions that span multiple disciplines. The role focuses on integrating various components within the ecosystem to enhance delivery speed and maintain high standards of quality throughout the application lifecycle. Daily activities include executing continuous testing processes that cover security, application programming interfaces, and regression scenarios. The position also involves developing and maintaining automation strategies and scripts, as well as managing data and environment configurations. Regular participation in code reviews and defect monitoring supports ongoing improvements in testing practices and overall product quality.

• Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of quality solutions.
• Develop and maintain automated testing frameworks to improve efficiency and coverage.
• Analyze test results and provide detailed feedback to development teams for continuous improvement.
• Support junior team members by sharing knowledge and assisting with complex testing scenarios.
  
  

Professional & Technical Skills:

• Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Workday HCM Testing, Workday HCM Security.
• Strong experience in designing and executing automated test scripts for various testing phases.
• In-depth understanding of continuous testing methodologies and their application in software development.
• Ability to configure and manage test data and environments to support diverse testing needs.
• Familiarity with code review processes and defect tracking tools to enhance product quality.
• Skilled in integrating testing activities within the broader application lifecycle to ensure comprehensive coverage.
  
  

Additional Information:

• The candidate should have minimum 4 to 5 years of experience in Workday HCM Testing.
• This position is based at our Pune office.
