Job Description

Project Role : Quality Engineer

Project Role Description : Enables full stack solutions through multi-disciplinary team planning and ecosystem integration to accelerate delivery and drive quality across the application lifecycle. Performs continuous testing for security, API, and regression suite. Creates automation strategy, automated scripts and supports data and environment configuration. Participates in code reviews, monitors, and reports defects to support continuous improvement activities for the end-to-end testing process.

Good to have skills : Workday Australia Payroll

Summary:

As a Quality Engineer, your day involves collaborating with a diverse team to design and implement comprehensive solutions that span multiple disciplines. You focus on integrating various components within the ecosystem to enhance delivery speed and maintain high standards of quality throughout the application lifecycle. Your responsibilities include executing continuous testing activities that cover security, application programming interfaces, and regression scenarios. You develop and maintain automation strategies and scripts, while also managing data and environment configurations. Additionally, you actively engage in reviewing code, tracking defects, and contributing to ongoing improvements in the testing process to ensure robust and reliable software outcomes.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
  • Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
  • Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of quality solutions.
  • Develop and maintain automated testing frameworks to improve efficiency and coverage.
  • Monitor testing processes and provide detailed reports to facilitate continuous improvement.
  • Assist junior team members by sharing knowledge and best practices to foster professional growth.

Professional & Technical Skills:

  • Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Workday Core HCM.
  • Good To Have Skills: Experience with Workday Australia Payroll.
  • Strong understanding of software testing methodologies including continuous testing and regression testing.
  • Experience in creating and maintaining automation scripts and strategies.
  • Familiarity with environment and data configuration to support testing activities.
  • Ability to participate effectively in code reviews and defect management processes.

Additional Information:

  • The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Workday Core HCM.
  • This position is based at our Chennai office.
  • A 15 years full time education is required.
