Project Role Description : Enables full stack solutions through multi-disciplinary team planning and ecosystem integration to accelerate delivery and drive quality across the application lifecycle. Performs continuous testing for security, API, and regression suite. Creates automation strategy, automated scripts and supports data and environment configuration. Participates in code reviews, monitors, and reports defects to support continuous improvement activities for the end-to-end testing process.

Summary:

As a Quality Engineer, your day involves collaborating with diverse teams to design and implement comprehensive solutions that enhance the entire application lifecycle. You engage in planning activities that integrate various ecosystem components, ensuring seamless delivery and maintaining high standards of quality. Your role includes executing continuous testing processes focused on security, application programming interfaces, and regression. You develop and maintain automation strategies and scripts, while also managing data and environment configurations. Additionally, you actively participate in reviewing code, tracking defects, and contributing to ongoing improvements in testing methodologies to support robust software development.

• Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
• Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of quality objectives with project goals.
• Assist in the development and refinement of testing frameworks to enhance efficiency and coverage.
• Support junior team members by sharing knowledge and providing guidance on quality assurance practices.
• Monitor testing progress and provide timely updates to stakeholders to facilitate informed decision-making.
  
  

Professional & Technical Skills:

• Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Oracle Procedural Language Extensions to SQL (PLSQL).
• Strong experience in developing and maintaining automated test scripts to support continuous integration and delivery.
• Ability to design and implement comprehensive testing strategies including security, API, and regression testing.
• Familiarity with environment and data configuration management to support testing activities.
• Experience in participating in code reviews and defect tracking to promote quality improvements.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills to identify issues and propose effective solutions.

• This position is based at our Chennai office.
