Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented QA Engineer to join our team. As a QA Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our products and applications through systematic testing and validation. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will play a critical role in identifying and reporting defects, maintaining test documentation, and contributing to the overall improvement of our software development process.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases to ensure software quality and functionality.
  • Perform functional, performance, and regression testing to detect and report defects or usability issues.
  • Collaborate with the development team to identify test requirements and validate software design and architecture.
  • Document and maintain test artifacts, including test cases, test scripts, and test results for future reference and regression testing.
  • Conduct thorough bug analysis, tracking, and reporting using appropriate tools.
  • Participate in agile development processes, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospective meetings.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of the QA process and adherence to quality standards.
  • Stay up to date with industry best practices and emerging testing methodologies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 4 - 8 proven experience as a QA Engineer or similar role, preferably in software development or a related industry.
  • Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies and must have worked in Web API, Postman
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
  • Proficiency in test case creation, test script development, and execution.
  • Experience with test management tools, defect tracking systems, and test automation.
  • Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and software testing principles.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience working in a collaborative team environment.
