The Quality Control Officer will be responsible for ensuring that all garments meet the company's

quality standards and buyer specifications before dispatch. The role involves monitoring production

processes, conducting inspections, coordinating with production teams, and maintaining quality

documentation to ensure consistent product excellence.

Location- Budge budge trunk road,maheshtala Kolkata

Key Responsibilities

Inspect raw materials, fabrics, accessories, and trims for quality compliance

Monitor quality at different stages of production (cutting, stitching, washing, finishing)

Conduct in-line and final quality inspections before packing and dispatch

Ensure adherence to buyer quality standards and company SOPs

Identify defects and coordinate with production teams for corrective actions

Maintain quality inspection reports and defect analysis records

Ensure proper measurement checks and size specifications

Reduce rejection rates and improve overall production quality

Support audit requirements and buyer inspections when required

Key Skills & Competencies

1. Strong knowledge of garment quality standards and inspection processes

2. Understanding of fabric types, stitching defects, and finishing issues

3. Ability to read tech packs, measurement charts, and buyer specifications

4. Knowledge of AQL (Acceptable Quality Level) inspection methods (preferred)

5. Basic computer skills (Excel, reporting, documentation)

6. Good communication and coordination skills

7. Ability to write clear and professional business emails.

8. Languages: English & Hindi required; Bengali preferred (optional)

Preferred Qualifications

Diploma / Degree in Textile, Fashion Technology, or related field

25 years of experience in garment quality control (manufacturing unit preferred)

Experience working with retail brand quality standards is an advantage

Budgeted CTC for the role: 15,000- 35,000 per month

Working days and working hours:

3. Working Days: Monday to Saturday

4. Working Hours: 10am to 7pm
