Quality Executive (Food processing)

The Quality Executive will be responsible for ensuring that all products meet the highest standards of food safety, quality, and compliance. He/she will support smooth operations across the production chain and contribute to continuous improvement in food quality systems.

Job Description:

  • Ensure all food products undergo proper quality checks, testing, and audits at various stages of food processing and packaging.
  • Verify that all food safety and regulatory standards (FSSAI, HACCP, ISO, etc.) are met throughout the food manufacturing process.
  • Regularly review and update company policies, SOPs, and standards to align with the latest food industry regulations and best practices.
  • Monitor food production processes to ensure strict adherence to quality and safety standards.
  • Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation related to food quality audits, test results, and corrective actions.
  • Plan, conduct, and monitor inspections across raw materials procurement and management, in-process batches, and finished food products to ensure consistent quality.
  • Investigate customer complaints related to food quality, identify root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
  • Analyze quality-related data from food processing operations to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Recommend improvements to enhance food product quality, shelf life, and compliance with regulatory norms.
  • Ensure that all food safety protocols are implemented and maintained across the production floor.
  • Coordinate with production, maintenance, and R&D teams to ensure consistency and quality in all food processing activities.
  • Train staff on food safety, hygiene, and quality standards to support a strong quality culture across all food manufacturing units.
  • Any other work assigned by the Supervisor.

Who can apply:

  • The candidate must have relevant work experience in the food industry, preferably in frozen food.
  • Holds a Diploma / Bachelor's degree in Food Science/Food Technology/Biotechnology or related field.
  • Minimum Experience required 1-2 years.

Salary: Negotiable as per relevant experience in the Food industry.
