About the Role

Gauri Buildcon Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a technically proficient and detail-oriented QC Engineer – Civil with hands-on experience in construction material testing, concrete quality control, and site laboratory operations.

The ideal candidate should understand civil construction materials, testing procedures, applicable IS Codes, and quality documentation, with additional knowledge of civil measurements, BOQ, MB, and billing.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct civil construction material testing, including Slump Test, Concrete Cube Test, UPV Test, Rebound Hammer Test, Sieve Analysis, Silt Content Test, Specific Gravity Test, and other relevant tests.
• Ensure concrete quality control before, during, and after casting.
• Inspect and assess the quality of cement, sand, aggregates, reinforcement steel, bricks, and other construction materials.
• Monitor concrete mixing, workability, placing, curing, and compressive strength.
• Establish, operate, and maintain the site laboratory and testing equipment.
• Maintain testing equipment calibration records and ensure equipment is fit for use.
• Maintain material testing registers, material inspection reports, concrete test reports, and daily QC reports.
• Ensure compliance with relevant IS Codes, approved drawings, project specifications, and quality standards.
• Identify material defects and quality issues and coordinate corrective actions with the site team.
• Coordinate with site engineers, contractors, and project teams to resolve quality-related issues.
• Maintain proper documentation and traceability of material samples and test results.
• Apply basic knowledge of AutoCAD and civil measurements for drawing interpretation and quantity checks.
• Assist with BOQ verification, Measurement Books (MB), and billing-related quantity checks when required.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• B.Tech / B.E. in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in civil construction quality control or material testing.
• Practical knowledge of concrete testing and construction material testing procedures.
• Familiarity with Slump Test, Cube Test, UPV, Rebound Hammer, Sieve Analysis, Silt Content, and Specific Gravity tests.
• Understanding of concrete mix quality, curing practices, and compressive strength requirements.
• Knowledge of relevant IS Codes and construction quality standards.
• Experience in site laboratory management, testing equipment, calibration records, and QC documentation.
• Basic working knowledge of AutoCAD.
• Basic understanding of civil measurements, BOQ, Measurement Books (MB), and billing.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving ability.

Location: Golf Course Road, DLF Phase 5, near Sector 54 Chowk Metro Station, Gurugram, Haryana.

• Working hours: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• Working days: 6 days a week
• Work arrangement: Full-time, on-site
