Position OverviewWe are looking for a dedicated QA/QC Engineer to support quality assurance activities across our construction sites. This role involves hands-on quality inspections, material testing coordination, and documentation to ensure all work meets specified standards and donor expectations.
Key ResponsibilitiesQuality Inspections
- Conduct daily site inspections for civil, structural, and MEP works.
- Verify workmanship quality and compliance with approved drawings and specifications.
- Identify non-conformances and initiate corrective actions.
Material Testing & Verification
- Coordinate material testing with NABL-accredited laboratories.
- Review and verify test reports for concrete, steel, bricks, and other construction materials.
- Maintain material traceability and quality records.
Documentation & Reporting
- Prepare daily quality inspection reports and non-conformance reports (NCRs).
- Maintain QA/QC registers, checklists, and photographic documentation.
- Support quality audits and donor inspections with comprehensive documentation.
Collaboration
- Work closely with site engineers, contractors, and subcontractors on quality matters.
- Assist QA/QC Manager in implementing quality management systems.
- Participate in quality training and awareness programs.
Candidate ProfileMust-Have
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
- 5+ years of QA/QC experience in construction projects.
- Knowledge of Indian building codes, CPWD specifications, and testing standards.
- Familiarity with construction materials, testing procedures, and quality documentation.
- Good communication skills in English and Hindi.
Nice-to-Have
- Experience in healthcare or institutional infrastructure projects.
- Knowledge of green building standards and sustainable construction practices.
- Exposure to donor-funded or NGO projects.
