Role Overview
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented QA Tester to support our QA process. You will assist in testing Shopify stores, identifying bugs, and ensuring smooth user experiences across devices and browsers.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform manual testing of Shopify websites before launch
- Check website functionality (navigation, forms, product pages, cart, checkout)
- Test responsiveness across mobile, tablet, and desktop devices
- Compare UI with design files (Figma) and report inconsistencies
- Identify and report bugs clearly with screenshots/videos
- Assist in regression testing after fixes
- Test basic integrations like apps, payment gateways, and shipping methods
- Verify links, content, and basic SEO elements (titles, broken links)
- Follow QA checklists and testing processes
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 2-3 years of experience in QA, testing, or internships
- Basic understanding of websites and how they work
- Strong attention to detail
- Good communication skills (written and verbal)
- Ability to follow structured testing processes
- Willingness to learn Shopify and eCommerce workflows
Basic Technical Knowledge (Preferred but not mandatory)
- Familiarity with HTML/CSS basics
- Understanding of browsers and developer tools (Inspect element)
- Awareness of different devices and screen sizes
