Job Description:
We are looking for a detail-oriented Manual QA Tester to ensure the quality and reliability of our software applications. The candidate will be responsible for designing and executing test cases, identifying defects, and collaborating with development teams to deliver high-quality products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Understand business requirements and functional specifications.
- Create, review, and execute test cases and test scenarios.
- Perform functional, regression, and integration testing.
- Identify, document, and track defects using tools like JIRA or similar bug tracking tools.
- Work closely with developers and product teams to resolve issues.
- Participate in requirement reviews and provide QA feedback.
- Ensure applications meet quality standards and user expectations.
Required Skills:
- Strong understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and SDLC.
- Hands-on experience in manual testing of web or mobile applications.
- Experience writing test cases, test plans, and defect reports.
- Familiarity with bug tracking tools (JIRA, Bugzilla, etc.).
- Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Good to Have:
- Basic knowledge of API testing (Postman).
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Understanding of SQL for basic data validation.
