We are looking for an experienced Mobile QE to design and implement automation frameworks for native, hybrid, and web mobile applications across Android and iOS platforms. The ideal candidate should have deep hands-on experience in Appium-based automation, CI/CD integration, device management, and strong understanding of mobile architecture and QA processes. Strong experience in testing on Mobile POS systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks for android & iOS mobile platforms.
- Create , execute test scripts for android & iOS using Appium framework
- Build end-to-end automated test suites for applications built on .NET Core and React.js.
- Perform comprehensive Mobile POS QA for Android/iOS devices covering functional, regression, hardware interaction, connectivity, and payment workflows.
- Work with real devices, emulators, simulators, and cloud mobile device platforms (BrowserStack/Sauce Labs/Perfecto).
- Should have hands on experience in designing frameworks like Appium frameworks, robot framework with android & IOS, cucumber BDD etc.
- Collaborate closely with Developers, Product Owners, and DevOps to ensure smooth, high-quality releases.
- Conduct performance, compatibility, and reliability testing across device platforms.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to CI/CD-driven automation practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 8+ years of QA experience, with strong automation background.
- Proven experience in Mobile POS testing:
- EMV/payment flows
- Peripheral/hardware testing
- Connectivity and offline ordering
- Sync and latency behaviour
- Strong hands-on experience with Appium or similar mobile automation frameworks.
- Experience building and optimizing CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).
- Strong debugging skills across API, UI, database, and sync layers.
- Solid SQL skills (SQL Server, PostgreSQL) for test data validation.
- Experience using logging/monitoring tools and defect tracking systems like JIRA, Azure Boards.
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid and collaborative environment.
Preferred Skills (Good to Have)
- Experience with microservices architectures.
- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, Azure/AWS cloud environments.
- Performance testing experience using JMeter, k6.
- Understanding of payment terminal integrations, EMV flows, and network/protocol-level testing.
- Knowledge of SOLID principles, clean coding, and QA best practices.
