Summary:
The Quality Assurance Tech role involves ensuring the highest quality of software products through comprehensive testing strategies and automation. The candidate will work closely with internal stakeholders to communicate issues and understand business requirements.
Responsibilities:
- End-to-End Quality Assurance: Test strategy, planning, and execution, including bug filing, status reporting, and bug triaging.
- Test Automation: Scripting and coding for automation testing.
- Stakeholder Communication: Collaborate with Product Managers, Tech Product Managers, Software Development Engineers, and Quality Assurance Engineers.
Requirements:
- 5 years of industry experience in software testing, including website applications.
- Experience in manual and automation testing.
- Demonstrated experience in test planning, test design, test strategy, and test execution of highly complex systems.
- Ability to design and plan testing conditions, test scripts, and test data sets to ensure appropriate and adequate coverage and control.
- Strong knowledge of QA methodology and tools.
- Experience with QA processes and Software Development Life Cycle.
- Ability to write quality code in at least one high-level language like Java, C, C#, etc.
- Experience with Selenium, Cypress, or any other test automation framework.
- BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
Preferred Skills:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience working closely with development and business teams to communicate problem impacts and understand business requirements.
